When Syedna Abdullah (R. A) ascended onto the throne of Dawat. Zaidi Imam Salah had taken over Sana'a from the Ashraaf of Hamazat. Syedna Abdullah was on good terms with Al-Malik Al-Nasir of Banu Ghassan, the ruler of Zabid, Taeez, and other large part of Yemen. Due to this good terms, Moomineen remained safe in different parts of Yemen.
During this period, Syedna Hasan (R. A), the noble son of Syedna Abdullah, reconquered the important fortress of Shibam in the year of 794/1392. In the same year, Syedna Hasan's noble son Syedna Idrees was born in Shibam. The fortresses of Bait e Anum and Saidain were conquered by Syedi Abdul Muttalib ibne Syedna Abdullah defeating Zaidi Imam. During the period of Syedna Abdullah, a number of Hudud Kiram of Dawat including two noble sons of Syedna passed away. Syedna Abdullah passed away in the fortress of Zimarmar in the year of 809/1377. During the period of Syedna Abdullah, Memeluks were the ruler of Egypt. Ottomans were in Asia Minor. In 1784/382, Ottomans captured Sofia from Byzantium, and the last possession of Byzantium in Asia Minor was lost to Ottomans in 792/1390. During this period, Timurlane, the Muslim descendant of Genghis Khan and the ruler of Transoxiana began a thirty years struggle to conquer all the Mongol Empire for Islam. He captured persia, Iraq and Syria, and invaded Subcontinent in 1397 AD. He slaughtered thousands of people in Persia, Delhi and other areas.
